Pain the land of Pain

I went with my mother to her work yesterday. Well, she works as a secretary for our local Church. Well, I have enough problems walking with my seizures & pain so we take the elevator. Well, the Church elevator has something wrong with it & if you don't watch it the two floors don't meet & so there is usually a step up or down the elevator shaft. Well, when we were leaving work the stupid elevator didn't meet & there was about a foot to a foot & a half. I have this horrible memory problem due to my seizures & whatever the doctors can not find in my head. So I forgot all about the elevator problem. Well, I fell down the foot to a foot & a half to the bottom of the elevator floor. So now I have a badly sprained right ankle (which my parents are worried might be fractured), a contusion on my left knee & shin, a banged up right wrist, a forehead & nose that looks like some one hit it with a baseball bat & my left shoulder & upper arm feels like it has been hit by a sledgehammer. Well, my wrist hurts so much I can't stitch. I can't sleep because of the pain. I am going crazy. My parents are telling me that if it doesn't get better soon I will be making a trip to the hospital. That is not going to be fun.

Oh honey. I'm so sorry to hear! I hope you're feeling better soon... but please do go see the dr if the 'rents think you should.

*hugs* hope you feel better soon. In the mean time, try to get some rest. Maybe wtch some good movies or read?

Thanks. We went to a Urgent Care for xrays & found out that nothing is broken (thank goodness) just a bad sprain. But they gave me some pain killers & a license to stay off my feet for the next seven days, lol. Stitching heaven in my opinion.

Thanks. I have seven days of rest coming. Will be watching lots of tv & movies I imagine. Thanks for the idea. Will hopefully be getting in a lot of stitching too. My wrist is feeling better since I am not having to use the cane so I think I will be able to stitch.
